Welcome to RedZoneGamer.com.
My name is Kevin Larrabee and I am pursuing a career in video game journalism. Three months before graduating college I made the life altering decision to go in a completely different direction with my life. I had a job lined up, a successful podcast and website, and a life planned out. In June 2008 I moved 3,000 miles to Santa Monica, CA after accepting an internship at GameTrailers.com. When my internship concludes I will have a degree in Health Science. Since moving to the west coast I have continued to run RedZoneGamer.com to sharpen my writing skills and to create a portfolio of work.
Ever since I was able to walk I had a joystick in my hands. I even still have pictures from when I was two with an Atari 2600 joystick in my hands. I grew up loving video games. My favorite game of my childhood was the Legend of Zelda. I rented it over 20 times from the local rental store before my parents gave up and purchased me a copy. Ever since then I have loved video games. Today I find myself hungry for the latest news and announcements regarding video games and the industry.

On RedZoneGamer.com you will find editorials, reviews, retro reviews, and a podcast that I host every week. Reviews will be posted more frequently now that we are receiving review copies of games. All of the work done on the site is with my own free time, after the 40 hours a week spent at GameTrailers.com.
