For the first time since the release of Sonic Adventure on the Dreamcast, I am looking forward to a Sonic game. I know this is only a trailer but it looks like Sonic Team has finally listened to the critics, and more importantly the fans about what has been wrong with Sonic for the last 9 years.
Things that make me excited:
- The game is lightning fast and Sonic never stops moving.
- No sign of Sonic’s lame ass friends (although we should expect to at least see Tales)
- Great Music
- 360 degree loops
- SIDE SCROLLING!!!
- And it is FAST! (This must be reiterated)
Remember that article about games I want to see on XBLA/PSN/Wii Ware? I called for a side scrolling Sonic game with 3D environments, Sonic Unleashed seems to fit that description quite well. Thank you Sega.
