I really do not know what to put into a first post, but I will do my best.

Why did I create RedZoneGamer.com? Well, it is a little complicated. I have a strong passion for video games and the industry that they reside in. My true goal over the next few months and years is to get some readers, some listeners to the podcast, and most importantly, break video game NEWS, previews, reviews, and retrospectives to you every day. You can think of this as a blog, but with a little more depth to it.

Now I think it is important to mention my personal story. I grew up playing video games starting with the trusty Atari 2600, to the Nintendo Entertainment System, Super Nintendo, and so on all the way to the current generation of consoles (XBOX 360, PS3, Nintendo Wii).

Currently I am a Health Science student at Keene State College, and did I mention I graduate in three months? This is really not the opportune time to change my career. I already have made a name for myself in the fitness and nutrition world with my other website TheFitCast.com, and it’s podcast.Over the last few months I have thought more and more about getting into the world of video game journalism, I have literally stayed up all night thinking about how to do this, and if it is really the right thing to do. I have spent $100,000 over the last four years to get a degree in health science, but now I am performing a complete 180. I don’t think I could really live with the fact that I didn’t at least try to see what it would be like to be a video game journalist.I hope to get an internship at a reputable video game website which inevitably means that I will be heading 3, 000 miles to the west coast, where all of the magazines and major websites are located.

Now lets talk a little bit more about RedZoneGamer.com. You will be seeing breaking NEWS, Reviews, Previews, and Retrospectives when we look back on the classics. Along with the Reviews and Previews will be video content to go along with them. I am striving to make RedZoneGamer.com the best video game news and previews, and reviews site around. This means that we will be covering it all, including the following systems:
